Perform full administrative and general office duties in support of a Director or Senior Manager. This includes scheduling and coordinating appointments, screening phones calls and visitors, resolving complex and routine inquiries, and operating of a variety of office equipment, such as a personal computer, photocopier, transcriber, facsimile, scanner or calculator. Additionally, this person is responsible for setting priorities and procedures for accomplishing work and authorizing approval for travel expense reports.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Schedules and coordinates appointments and makes arrangements for meetings, conferences and travel to ensure effective management of supervisor's/department's calendar.
Screens telephone calls and resolves or refers them as appropriate.
Prepares routine letters, memorandums, agendas, presentations, forms, etc.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining official documents and records in appropriate files to ensure organization of materials.
Performs clerical duties such as typing, note taking, and managing daily mail to make certain that order is maintained within the office/department.

This position has no direct reports.

Typically progress or results of work is periodically checked. Has some leeway to change work procedures.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
Must meet reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy and/or may be involved in some mildly difficult situations.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
One to two years of work experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Proficient in Lotus notes, Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and follow up skills.
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Must be a team player that is able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Ability to accomplish multiple assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Must be able to provide training/coaching to others.
