Home Depot HRS FIELD PROJECT MANAGER - ORLAND PARK in Orland Park, Illinois

POSITION PURPOSE

The HRS Field Project Manager is responsible for delivering high quality, on-time projects within their assigned territories via onsite engagement with customers, service providers and business/client teams.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 50%- Fulfillment and Compliance: Execute jobsite visits and create impactful interactions from those visits (account updates, service provider engagement, feedback to the branch manager), review and address compliance risks (badging, permitting, MALP)

  • 25%- Service Provider Engagement: Relationship building, feedback and course correction/recognition based on observations in the field, drive SLA performance on bid times, project times and quality control

  • 25%- Additional duties as assigned by manager

NATURE AND SCOPE

This role reports to a HRS Branch Manager.

This posiiton has no direct reports.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel 15% to 20% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with 3rd party management

  • Prior experience in project and jobsite management

  • Background in general construction or trades

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of services/programs offered through HRS (general contracting, flooring, HVAC, residential repairs and remodeling)

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Solutions-oriented; demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint); understanding of additional applications such as Salesforce and iOS
