Home Depot The Home Depot PRO - Sales Operations Analyst in Jacksonville, Florida

POSITION PURPOSE

The Analyst will assist in the improvement of operational efficiencies within the sales organization. The ideal candidate will maximize volume, profit, people performance, and productivity. The Sales Operations Analyst must be highly collaborative, as partnerships must be formed with cross-functional teams and departments to drive business objectives across the company.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 40% - Mine, analyze, interpret, and apply data for business planning, decision making, and recommendations to management. Develop KPIs and associated tracking mechanisms. Provide sales meeting support including deck prep and data consolidation.

  • 30% - Collaborate with vertical sales leaders and cross-functional personnel to develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.

  • 10% - Partner with IT to drive the development of standardized reporting, CRM solutions, and revenue-enhancing technology solutions, and build out of Pipeline dashboards.

  • 10% - Optimize and coordinate processes between sales and cross-functional partners.

  • 10% - Provide recommendations for effective cost containment and reduction strategies.

This position reports to the Manager - Sales Operations.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

ENVIRONMENT:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

TRAVEL:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2 years

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Detailed understanding of sales processes, sales data tracking systems, and incentive compensation operations

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related fields

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong core skills including strategic thinking, problem solving, and analytical proficiency

  • Ability to quickly assimilate and digest information while making complex issues easy for others to understand

  • Strong people orientation with great interpersonal skills needed to support dynamic sales teams

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

  • Ability to interact with various levels of management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines

  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
