- The Systems Engineer develops, maintains and supports technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for small to mid-sized projects. Performs configuration, debugging and support for multiple infrastructure platforms on mid-sized and smaller projects. Performs root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures and present to management. Ability to listen to user issues and translate to determine appropriate technical solution.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform installation, maintenance and support of system software and user support on small to mid-sized projects.
Perform configuration, debugging and support for multiple infrastructure platforms on small to mid-sized projects.
Monitor and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
Perform installation, maintenance and support of hardware and infrastructure on small to mid-sized projects.
Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures and present to management.
Assist in store & SSC engineering and roll-out implementation.

Typically reports to Manager, Information Technology
Responsible for helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
