Home Depot Sr. Analyst Project Planning- Crown Bolt in Atlanta, Georgia

POSITION PURPOSE

The Crown Bolt Senior Analyst Project Planning is responsible for ensuring project readiness before deployment and for driving resolution of key issues for projects that directly impact customer's shopping experiences in The Home Depot stores. This position partners with multi-functional teams, consisting of approximately 10-15 individuals across the enterprise. In addition to showing innovation through leadership, the individual will be required to utilize communication, presentations, and creative problem solving skills to evaluate and drive projects to completion.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

65% - Evaluate Upcoming Projects: Ensure Readiness with instructions, product materials, MET/3PL training, to deliver project readiness.

25% - Collaboration Across Cross-functional Teams: Partner with MET and issue resolution teams to drive execution and resolve pervasive issues in a timely manner.

10% - Reporting: Report out on execution metrics and drive best practice learning to enhance planning readiness and resolution processes.

This position reports to the Sr Manager Space Planning and OL Marketing.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment: Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.

Travel: Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2+ years

Physical Requirements:

Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams

Demonstrated project management skills

Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences

Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Project Management certifications are a plus
