Home Depot SR ANALYST BUSINESS ANALYTICS - HOME DEPOT DESIGN CENTER in Atlanta, Georgia

POSITION PURPOSE

The Sr. Analyst HDDC Business Analytics designs and implements analytic tools to measure the customer experience and site performance via key performance indicators. Work with product, merchandising and marketing business units to gather complex business requirements and collaborate with IT and analytics team in implementing those requirements based on the analytics & Operations team processes and standards. Sr. Analyst HDDC Business Analytics will analyze business trends and customer behavior data to identify opportunities for website enhancements to provide the best customer experience and increase growth in HDDC sales. Support complex reporting needs like building KPI dashboards for various business, Operations and senior leadership teams. Perform complex deep dive analysis to troubleshoot or identify the root cause for site issues or any dip in conversion or other KPIs.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead Project Teams of Analysts and other associates

Perform data gathering tasks, synthesis - develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization

Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize. Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors

Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge. Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors.

NATURE AND SCOPE

Typically reports to Operations Process Manager or Operations Business Manager (or Sr. Managers)

No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area.

Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% - 20% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.

On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years’ experience in Data Strategy, Instrumentation Integration and Digital Analytics fields

Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Experience querying and mining large relational and unstructured transactional/clickstream data

Experience conceptualizing, developing and deploying innovative analytical solutions in production environment: architect solutions to streamline and automate reports; develop complex stored procedures, macros or routines; aggregate data from disparate/cross-functional data sources; design and develop dashboards using advanced visualization techniques; distribute reports using Tableau

Experience identifying key data insights through traditional analytical tools (i.e., Excel and Tableau)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Experience leading high performing teams

Consulting management and/or project management.

Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis

Problem solving

Strong Operations, Retail and/or field knowledge
