Home Depot Senior Operations Business Analyst - Pro Experience in Atlanta, Georgia

POSITION PURPOSE

The Senior Analyst, Pro Experience will support and drive the design and implementation of how execute on Pro centric initiatives. This individual will also be responsible for executing and rolling out pilots and chain wide programs while ensuring all stakeholders and field process requirements are achieved. Implement changes that improve overall Pro experience that are likely to add value; drive Pro experience related projects, follow up and/or process improvements. Manage day to day processes related to areas of responsibility; Create and maintain project work plans. Identify issues and roadblocks that arise related to area of responsibility; Respond proactively to unanticipated needs arising out of a variety of inputs. Communicate effectively and build strong, partnerships with the business units/field/stores and throughout The Home Depot. Demonstrate proficiency/understanding of specific processes; Maintain knowledge base regarding specific operations and processes related to the Pro experience.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead Project Teams of Analysts and other associates

Perform data gathering tasks, synthesis - develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization

Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize. Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors

Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.

NATURE AND SCOPE

Typically reports to Store Operations Process Manager or Store Operations Business Manager (or Sr. Managers)

No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Ability to act as a business support associate

Skilled in change management and ability to support large-scale projects

Ability to retrieve / analyze data from multiple sources in order to provide insight to business decisions

Knowledge of Home Depot's stores, applications, Pro customer and operations a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Experience leading high performing teams

Consulting management and/or project management.

Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis

Problem solving
