Home Depot Senior Analyst, Online Product Insights in Atlanta, Georgia
The Senior Analyst, Online Product Insights will lead the design and implementation of the Homedepot.com’s product analytics strategy. In this position, you will analyze web analytics data as well as other offline data to evaluate site performance and identify opportunities in cross-channel customer journey (capacity, customer experience, fall out points, etc.). You will collaborate with various departments to design and execute a fact-based continuous improvement / channel growth strategy using online and offline data analysis. As the Senior Analyst for Product Insights Analytics, your goal is to identify tactical opportunities as well as steer strategic discussions by leveraging perspectives that are grounded in data based evidence and heavy analytical rigor. The Sr Analyst will leverage SQL, web analytics, data visualization and an expertise in applied data science techniques for insights generation. The Senior Analyst, Online Product Insights works with fellow analysts ,A/B testing team, data product teams as wells as cross functional leadership across product management, marketing merchandizing to analyze online data to uncover trends and provide insight that will maximize HomeDepot.com’s business objectives .
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
20% - Work with other departments providing analytical insight on business performance.
20% - Research and analyze business trends & customer behavior data to identify opportunities for website enhancements.
20% - Analyze web analytics data as well as other offline data to evaluate site performance.
10% - Work with the Web Analyst to provide weekly Web Analytic dashboards.
10% - Takes the lead on new programs and initiatives for Web Analytics Team.
10% - Provide web analytics strategy to Specialty Channel.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Prior Data analyst/data science experience
