Home Depot MANAGER MERCHANDISING PROJECTS in Atlanta, Georgia
Responsible for facilitating and leading the execution of Smart Home projects within the department.This would include evaluation of current programs as well as the scoping, coordination and execution of new programs across the Smart Home space. Position will serve as the key contact responsible for aligning cross functional work groups to achieve goals.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
40%- Working directly with Divisional Merchandise Manager in evaluating, constructing and implementing current departmental projects
25%- Key point of contact and leader for processes and projects within the department
20%- Development and coordination of cross functional relationships to achieve key objectives
15%- Able to analyze data and reporting to make decisions and present to key stakeholders
NATURE AND SCOPE
This role reports to a Divisional Merchandise Manager or Sr. Merchant
This role has no direct reports
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area.
Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
Project Management Certification or equivalent experience
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 4 years
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Project Management Certification
Ability to self-start and identify areas for process improvements and can coordinate solution-based activities
Ability to plan and organize time and resources to meet project deadlines
Ability to navigate through Home Depot systems and knowledge of Home Depot processes
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Process / project development and implementations
