The Manager, Item Data Governance, is part of the enterprise Product/Item Data team, which is responsible for designing the product taxonomy, defining product attributes, and ensuring data quality and data integrity for product data at The Home Depot. The Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Sr. Analysts/Analysts working on multiple projects across the company to optimize the product taxonomy or in support of expansions to the overall assortment. The Manager will be responsible for helping to define overall processes, methodologies, and strategy for the team and will also define metrics/reporting needed to measure the impact and value of projects assigned to their team. Additionally, the role will provide oversight for ongoing projects – working to prioritize activities, ensuring that projects are completed within communicated timeliness, and resolving issues/escalations within their peer group or project team.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
40% - Manage multiple enterprise-item related capital projects by integrating and leading the efforts of a broad range of contributors, ensuring that all necessary project deliverables are complete on time and within budget. Work closely with management to gain approval for initiatives.
20% - Act as the integrator across the range of program contributors including internal groups, vendors, IT and third party software providers by identifying and managing dependencies across disparate workstreams and mitigating overall risk to the program success.
20% - Design and review practical, realistic project plans and hold project teams accountable for execution and quality of projects.
20% - Maintain quality and fiscal control of projects. Provide metrics, measurement, evaluation and reporting as needed in support of capital projects. Track projects from inception through implementation.

Position reports to Sr. Manager, Enterprise Item Data
This position has 5 direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
5+ years of business experience, preferably in Ecommerce, Retail, or Management Consulting
Proficiency in current department software for all technical applications including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Strong planning & project management skills including multi-tasking, work prioritization, meeting deadlines and operating under pressure
Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence a wide range of people and teams and create movement toward common goals.
Embraces change and adjusts quickly to altering work demands
Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships and provide exceptional customer service
Ability to think strategically and work in fast paced environment
Understanding of overall HD business model and how enterprise item data fits into the organization
