Home Depot Field Staffing Manager in Atlanta, Georgia
The Field Staffing Manager is responsible for executing the hourly talent acquisition process for The Home Depot US retail stores, MET, and Supply Chain business partners, ensuring that the company hires a diverse and high-performing workforce. Our people are our most valuable asset and as such, the Field Staffing Manager is responsible for ensuring that candidates are prioritized and presented to store leadership for consideration, against the established sourcing strategy to ensure the timely identification of high quality candidates required to meet business needs. The Field Staffing Manager identifies staffing trends and launches organization-wide staffing initiatives to address issues, improve processes and implement best in-class retail staffing practices. Communicating with others, at all levels, building relationships and planning projects are critical skills for successful performance in this position. Having extensive and relevant industry knowledge and partnering with all levels of management is critical for success.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
20% - Proactively identify current business and hiring trends that impact staffing needs and recommend strategies to address the issues. Facilitate and constructively execute the management of hiring events and requisition maintenance
20% - Provide training to field partners to effectively utilize resources and tools, ensuring staffing processes are followed as designed. Handle inbound calls as required.Utilize staffing metrics to evaluate department performance, recommend change, and drive continuous process improvement
20% - Conduct demographic analysis and local competitive analysis etc. to remain keenly aware of regional and geographic staffing changes in business climate and identify their impact on staffing. Use this knowledge to create innovative recruitment capabilities in support of the field.
20% - Facilitate collaboration among staffing leadership and business partners ensuring rapid course corrections are made for any identified process improvements. Assess high quality applicants through sourcing and RSA tools for specific roles that offer the best match for the position requirements.
20% - Establish, manage and maintain good working relationships with cross-functional business partners and experts within the RSC, Corporate, Regional and District levels.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Demonstrate business acumen with effective written and verbal communication skills
Proven problem-solving and customers skills with a strong sense of urgency
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
