Home Depot Director, Performance Management Services in Atlanta, Georgia

POSITION PURPOSE

The Overall responsibility of this position is to manage provider management activities that support the Field, Merchants, and service providers. In addition, this Director is to offer assistance to the Home Services leadership team and provide input on the deployment of strategic projects in Home Services. This individual is responsible for providing specific operational expertise to all levels of Home Depot Associates.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Measure impact of changes and new projects.

Evaluates needs of multiple project requests and impact on Home Services operations, aggregates data from team and ensures needs of projects are met.

Provides expertise and strategic thinking and process design to drive successful improvements in Home Services, working toward quickly implementation and ROI.

NATURE AND SCOPE

Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Located in a comfortable indoor area.

Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 8 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.

On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Supports strategic projects and business improvement initiatives across Home Services

Drives the home services business by supporting our Field and Merchant teams in provider management activities

Leads the performance management process for the service provider network

Owns the provider management tools, analytics, insights that drive business award activities and decisions

Leads provider engagement and collaboration communication, processes, tools, and events

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Financial understanding and business knowledge

Strong understanding of Operations and area of expertise

Able to easily influence others

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
